Membership Report:

At this time we have 172 paid members out of 254 members. If you have not paid your dues PLEASE send them. After January 01, 2005 dues will increase by $5.00.  

What’s new at the Post

We installed a new awning at the hall, which looks great. The American Flag program throughout Broad Channel looks spectacular.

At this time we would like to thank all the members that recruited new members.

Lets Cover our "Town with Pride:

The Son's of the American Legion and B.C.V.F.D. did such a great job on the Flag project, the town looked great, flags on both sides, up and down.

 

We were $2,500.00 over budget and held a "Night at the Races" in April which recooped $2,100 back.

VA News:

The VA has started a new program called “Dual Care”. Which allows you to obtain your prescriptions from the VA using your private Doctor’s prescriptions. VA prescriptions are $7 dollars, for more information call 1-800-877-6976, (the VA Hot Line).
