Last year was my
first time in the Key's. It's a beautiful place and the weather is perfect at
this time of year (80 to 90). This year 03/17/2004 we are expecting over 110
people that either lived in Broad Channel or currently here as snowbirds or
vacationing.
I was one of the
youngest participants at the reunion, and it's great to hear the story's from
everyone, that took place over the years in Broad Channel.
The first day we
hung out around the pool and had parties over-looking the wonderful views. The
bars and restaurants around the surrounding area are great and Mike Cullen knows
every bartender + waitress. There's a gambling ship next door and I won.
We had a great
time at Joan Laverty-Rafferty's party, the St. Paddy's Reunion Party at
Snappers is
fabulous. I hope I can attend again this year.

Hello fellow
Channelites! A few of the Broad Channel/Florida Raisins will be attending
the reunion this year and I hope for years to come. Carol Corbett, Patsy Holmes
and Janet O'Hare will be there as well as Janet's sister Babalu and her husband
Capt. Kirk. We are all looking forward to this great event and I can't wait to
see Arlene and Vinny Brennan who were next door neighbors to me, Janet for many
years.
